Charity

To be concerned for those in need is an essential quality of a Freemasons life.

Freemasons help each other where and when they can.  However Freemasonry is also one of the UK’s leading organisations giving to non- masonic registered charities.

Individual Lodges raise funds for charitable giving and make donations to both masonic and non-masonic causes.

All members of The Lodge are mindful of the needs of others both in the local community to which they belong and in the wider World.

Charitable funds are raised through the generosity of Lodge Members giving what they can afford to help others.   In addition the Lodge raises funds by various events and functions.

However Charity is not all about giving money, it is also about individuals donating their own time to help others and in many cases this is the most valuable way to help those in need.

The Lodge has a long history of helping those in need and charitable causes both locally in the Middlesex area and beyond and has previously been honoured as below:

  • Grand patron Middlesex Retirement Charity
  • Grand Patron of the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls
  • Grand Patron for the Royal Masonic Hospital
  • Vice Patron for the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys
  • Grand Patron Lodge Middlesex 98
  • Grand Patron RMBI 2009 Festival
  • Grand Patron 2020 Festival
  • Prince Michael of Kent Court (Supporting Lodge)

In addition to these Masonic Charities, many local and non-masonic charities have been helped.
